To start, thank you again to each of you for getting us across that finish line and making the Pocket Edition of Gelt Galore possible!!

We're so grateful for your support, and already working hard to finalize everything from the pledge manager to the game design.

  • A note for backers: You'll be able to add extra goodies when pledge manager surveys go out, so if you'd like to add anything to your pledge, please wait for that.

Of course if you have any questions about preorders, surveys, or the project in general, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Over the next couple weeks, we'll be finalizing the art files and details with the manufacturer to get games into production as soon as possible. There are a few tweaks to be made from the prototype copies, but we're confident those can be finished up quickly.

Based on your feedback, we've decided to offer the dragon sticker and brand new card design among the options you'll have! Here's a quick look at those:

What's next:

As we mentioned up top, we're already working on finalizing everything for the pledge manager. Expect surveys to go out within the next few weeks. We'll be sending out another update with instructions and details before that happens.

Early next week, we'll be reaching out directly to those of you in the Retailer and Holiday Hero tiers, so please look out for those emails. 

If you've been notified that your pledge payment method failed, please take a look and update that information. (Sometimes just resubmitting the same payment method works.) If you have any troubles, please contact either us or Backerkit. 
  • Note: if you can't resolve the situation before surveys go out, you will still get access to the pledge manager and have the ability to update your payment method there as well. You'll also still be eligible for any campaign exclusives that were included with your pledge.

With about 23 hours left in the campaign, there's still some time to grab campaign exclusives like our upgraded turn tracker.

There's even a chance to reach some bonus goals:

If we make it to our first stretch goal of $3,300, the Night Tracker, which is currently on the back of the rule booklet, will become its own card!

About 41 hours left in Pocketopia, and we're 83% funded! 

We're also well on our way to our goal of adding an exclusive organizer insert add-on for the game. If we reach this goal by the end of the campaign, the add-on will also be available in the pledge manager to ensure you have plenty of time to take advantage.

As we head into the last days of the campaign, we've added a new goal that asks for only a few moments of your time:

If we can get 25 shares before the campaign ends, all backers with physical rewards will get a bonus sticker! 

You'll of course be able to choose your own design, including the fox above (and maybe the dragon) ☺️  

We have also been thinking hard about names for all our characters, including the dreidel on our turn tracker, our little lion, the owls for the Family Friendly banner, and the two above. Thanks so much for those who participated in the livestream with your thoughts! We did share some ideas there, so check out the replay. We'd love to hear everybody's suggestions in the comments!
